Hi, I’m Lorraine—and I believe every kid is already a leader.
I’m Lorraine Connell, founder of Peers Not Fears, longtime educator, and leadership coach. After more than 20 years of teaching in the classroom, I saw a huge gap: students were expected to be leaders, but no one was teaching them how to lead.
I started Peers Not Fears to change that.
Using my background in education and curriculum design, I created a program that helps students feel seen, heard, and capable. I’ve worked with schools, families, and organizations across the country, always with one goal in mind: to help students grow without fear or comparison.
I’m also a parent, a podcast host, an author, a speaker, and a lifelong learner. Whether I’m coaching one-on-one or working with a full school district, I bring the same energy: deep empathy, clear guidance, and a belief that leadership is something we build together.
